LIC AAO Syllabus 2016 Exam Pattern and Selection Process: 

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has published notification for 700 Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist) Posts. 

Patterns of Exam : Online examination which will be of objective type multiple choices of 120 minutes (2 hrs) duration comprising of the following:

LIC AAO Syllabus Consists of questions from the Topics :-

1. Reasoning Ability Test : 30 Questions

2.Quantitative Aptitude Test : 30 Questions

3.General Knowledge, Current Affairs Test : 30 Questions

4.Computer Knowledge Test : 30 Questions

5.English Language Test with Special emphasis on Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension : 40 

Questions

Total 160 Questions

LIC AAO Question Paper each Topic consists of Marks are :-

1. Reasoning Ability Test : 90 Marks

2.Quantitative Aptitude Test : 90 Marks

3.General Knowledge, Current Affairs Test : 60 Marks

4.Computer Knowledge Test : 60 Marks

5.English Language Test with Special emphasis on Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension

Total Marks are : 300

Penalty/Fine for choosing of wrong answer :-

• If the question marked as wrong 1/4th marks is deducted from corrected score for each wrong answer question. 
• If the question is left blank no deduction of marks. 

So careful while filling OMR sheet. Candidate MUST pass in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview

The minimum marks to be obtained in each Section and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC. English Language test is of qualifying nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking. The decision of LIC in this regard shall be final and binding on the candidates.
